Chicken with Olives and Tomatoes

Chicken with Olives and Tomatoes
This is a recipe that we use back in the States, and it is one of our favorites. Usually it is put in a crockpot and cooked for 4 hours. We cooked this in the oven for one hour after browning the chicken on the cooktop. It is easily paired with riz or pâtes (pasta). It is a delicious way to enjoy chicken. We paired this with a Bordeaux Clairet Rosé.

  1. How did the rose` pair with the tomato sauce? Rose`s can be tricky - some are sweet and others are surprisingly dry.

Looks like you had some bread too - I love me some french bread!!! Looks like you have had some great meals! Tomatoes are clearly in season!

    Miss ya!

    1. The rosé is very popular now with the heat. This one that we had was a drier one and went actually very well with the tomatoes. We have had a baguette every day and they are always delicious!! Thanks for looking at my blogs. Miss you too!
